SALISBURY — While she never really thought about becoming an author, Kathy Russell of Salisbury said she loves to tell stories and came up with a fun idea that became her first published book.

Titled “The Longers, A Seeker’s Tale,” written under her pen name of KC Russell, the story “is one of self-discovery,” she said, noting that many are trying to figure out why they’re here, what they are supposed to do and who they are.

With a laugh, she said, “I’m 50 years old and I’m still trying to figure out what I want to be when I grow up.”
