APD responds to report of 'suspicious phone call' on Howell Mill Road

ATLANTA — The Atlanta Police Department is responding to a possible bomb threat, according to police scanners.

Officers were dispatched to 921 Howell Mill Road NW after receiving a bomb threat call around 11:39 a.m.

11Alive reached out to APD, who said in a statement, "Officers are responding to a call of a suspicious phone call. Information is still being gathered at this time as the investigation continues."
