STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — North Shore traffic concerns, including the proposed Universal Daylighting Bill and tractor trailer congestion on Goethals Road North, will be discussed this week, and South Shore project updates will be given to the public during Staten Island’s three Community Board meetings.
The following is a list and description of this week’s public meetings, provided by representatives from Staten Island’s three Community Boards.
Community Board 1
Traffic concerns and requests will be discussed on Tuesday, Nov. 25, when the Community Board 1 Traffic and Transportation Committee meets virtually at 6:30 p.m.
The committee will discuss the differences and qualifications for speed bumps, speed humps, raised crosswalks, stop signs and traffic signal requests.
