MADISON, Wis. — Students from across Wisconsin gathered on Saturday for the Wisconsin Youth Climate Conference.
This annual, student-led event focused on collaboration and climate solutions.
Conference organizers Ella Honor, Nina Zhu, Madeline Bohn, and Yelet Blum aimed to unite youth around shared climate action.
"Schools from all over Wisconsin are coming today to work together and try to reverse climate change," Honor said.
This year's theme was Building Bridges, emphasizing connection.
"We’re really focusing on, like, working within and with other communities to make connections and make change," Zhu said.
