Portland will likely see a variety of fall weather this weekend, including dense fog, partly sunny skies and rain.
The National Weather Service issued a dense fog advisory in Portland Saturday, through 11 a.m., cautioning drivers to drive slowly, use headlights and leave space ahead of them.
The patchy fog will clear up by around noon, giving way to partly sunny skies. Temperatures will reach a high of about 50 degrees, the weather service said. Fog could return between 9 p.m. and 2 a.m., and there will be a 30% chance of rain overnight.
Rain is likely Sunday, with a 100% chance of precipitation, according to the weather service. Forecasters predict between a tenth and a quarter-inch of rainfall. Temperatures will peak around 51 degrees.
