BOSTON —
A teenager was arrested Friday in connection with a homicide more than a year ago in Boston's Mattapan neighborhood.
The 16-year-old male was wanted on a warrant out of Suffolk Superior Court for murder, firearm used in a commission of a felony, assault and battery with a firearm, and carrying a firearm without a license.
According to Boston police, the teen was involved in a shooting on July 5, 2024, in the area of Gladeside Avenue and Donwood Terrace that killed 17-year-old Christian Cousins of Stoughton and injured a second victim.
The 16-year-old will be arraigned in Suffolk Superior Court.
The incident remains under investigation.
