ELLENVILLE, N.Y. — Two were arrested Thursday after allegedly assaulting a woman, village police said.
In a press release, police said on Monday, Nov. 17, at around 8:45 p.m., officers responded to a report of “two subjects that went into a residence and assaulted the occupant.”
Police said a female victim was found with head and neck injuries “that she sustained during the assault.” The woman was sent to Ellenville Regional Hospital for treatment by Ellenville Rescue.
The release said a search for the two suspects went on for several days, with the assistance of state police, before two people were arrested Thursday, Nov. 20.
Miranda Ajanovic, 27, of Monroe, was arrested and charged with strangulation, a felony, as well as the misdemeanor
