A major announcement was made by hosts Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman just minutes into Saturday's episode of Strictly Come Dancing , as it was announced to fans in Blackpool and at home that La Voix has had to withdraw from the competition due to injury.

The RuPaul's Drag Race UK star made it through to the iconic Blackpool stage of the BBC show, and was set to dance in the famous Tower Ballroom, but the injured participant had to pull out.

Tess said: "Now, as you may have heard, La Voix sustained an injury, meaning that she can't dance in Blackpool tonight. From our medical team, we can now confirm she has very sadly had to withdraw from the competition."
