PULLMAN, Wash. – Jakori Buchanan, who pled guilty to shooting Washington State University (WSU) football player Sone Falealo, has been released from jail.
According to the Washington VINE Service, Buchanan was released on Saturday. He was sentenced to three months with time served but was released 30 days early due to good behavior.
The sentencing stemmed from an incident that occurred during Apple Cup weekend in Pullman. Buchanan, a University of Washington student, had been kicked out of a WSU party when a physical altercation unfolded, leading to the shooting.
