Stephen Robinson fumed after seeing St Mirren denied an opening goal against Celtic last night.

Liam Scales poked into his own net with the scores still level at the SMISA Stadium, but did so under the close attentions of Conor McMenamin, who had come back from an offside position.

The linesman flagged and there was no intervention from VAR but the home boss was fizzing about it as it was felt the midfielder was not interfering with play.

However Sky pundits Chris Sutton , and even Kris Boyd, have told the Northern Irishman he is wrong.

"I agree with the decision," Boyd said.
