Brummies have reacted with sadness at the news a man died in Sutton Park today, Sunday, November 23.

The man was found unresponsive at 5.55am this morning. He was pronounced dead a short time later.

Police confirmed the death was not c urrently being treated as suspicious and officers were due to remain in the park today to ' offer reassurance to the community.'

A blue tent was erected by police near the Jamboree Stone, close to the Streetly Gate entrance, following the discovery.

It was later removed alongside a police cordon which had enclosed an area of woodland and open space.
