Nan Xiang Soup Dumplings, a restaurant concept known for its Shanghai-style soup dumplings, is scheduled to open its first Delaware location by the end of November near Stanton.

The restaurant at 101 Geoffrey Drive is in the Metro Center shopping center across from Delaware Technical Community College, which includes the 2nd & Charles bookstore. The site had formerly been a jewelry store.

Nan Xiang Soup Dumplings is part of a growing chain that was founded in 2006 in Flushing, New York, as Nan Xiang Xiao Long Bao. In addition to “xiao long bao,” or soup dumplings, the restaurant also offers Shanghainese comfort food.
