STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. -- The 76th Lou Marli/Bill Welsh Turkey Trot will be staged Thanksgiving Day morning (Nov. 27, 2025) at Midland Beach beginning at 8 a.m.

The race, sponsored by the Brighton Kiwanis, has no entry fee. The only request is a donation of non-perishable food is requested for the North Shore food banks.

Kids races will be held at 8 a.m. (7-10-year-old 400 meters), 8:15 a.m. (11-12 800 meters), 8:30 a.m. (13-14 1-mile run) and 8:45 a.m. a.m. (6-and-under 50 meters).

Adult races will be held 9 a.m. (women), 9:45 a.m. (men 40 and over) and 10:30 a.m. (men 39-and under).
