NORFOLK, Va. — A man is injured as police investigate a shooting that happened early Sunday.

The shooting took place in the 300 block of Waterside Drive just after 2 a.m., according to Norfolk police.

Officers responded and found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. The man was taken to the hospital to receive medical treatment.

Police said they are still investigating the shooting, and updates will be shared as they become available.
