Emergency crews responded Sunday to a reported shooting at a home in Hialeah Gardens that left one person injured, according to authorities.

Miami-Dade Fire Rescue (MDFR) said the call initially came in as a medical emergency with reports of a possible shooting. When first responders arrived, they discovered one adult victim suffering from traumatic injuries. The patient was classified as a trauma alert and was airlifted to the hospital.

The Hialeah Gardens Police Department (HGPD) confirmed that multiple units responded to the scene under emergency mode. Detectives are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
