A Chattanooga man previously arrested for stealing hunting clothes from Walmart is facing additional charges for illegally shooting and killing a deer.
Police first arrested Jackson Conner, 39, on Tuesday, October 28 for shoplifting and evading police after they say he stole from the Walmart on Signal Mountain Road, according to arrest reports obtained by Local 3 News.
Store employees told police he had taken $119.82 worth of camouflage hunting clothes and then went to sit on a bench outside.
As an officer arrived and approached him, he stood up and began to walk away. Conner did not stop when asked, then ran to jump over a fence.
