LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) - Humidity will quicky return on Monday with a chance to see some showers and storms by Monday night.

Warmer and humid weather is back on Monday and the added humidity will make isolated-to-scattered showers possible at times. There will be plenty of breaks in between showers on Monday but keep an eye on the sky if you’ll be outside. The better coverage of showers and storms will hold off until Monday night.

A line of showers and storms will develop in Texas Monday and approach SWLA late Monday night into early Tuesday morning. With the arrival time being during the nighttime hours, the line should weaken some as it moves closer. Still, showers and storms will be possible overnight. A few showers may linger through Tuesday morning but push out by the afternoon.
