3Dorchester, MA – Members of the Youth Violence Strike Force arrested Keondre Barrett, 25, on firearm offenses and two outstanding warrants. Officers were conducting an investigation in the area of Mascot Street when they noticed a vehicle parking nearby.

The target of the investigation exited a building and entered the passenger seat of the vehicle. Officers followed the vehicle and observed it fail to stop at a stop sign before activating emergency lights and sirens.

Barrett was identified as the passenger and asked to exit the vehicle. As officers attempted to open the door, he closed it, but they managed to open it again and remove him.
