ALEXANDRIA, Minn. — Two hunters were rescued after their boat capsized on the north side of Lake Alvin, near Arrowwood Resort, on Sunday, Nov. 23.

A release from the Douglas County Sheriff's Office said a 911 call reporting the capsized boat was received just before 10 a.m, and a conservation officer with the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources and Douglas County deputies responded to locate and rescue the duck hunters who had gone in the water.

Deputies located the first hunter, identified as 23-year-old Ashten Buseman, of Alexandria, on the Arrowwood Resort Golf Course. He informed them that his friend, Ty Weller, 22, also of Alexandria, was still in the water near the capsized boat.
