Seven teenagers crowded into a pickup truck were hospitalized after the truck crashed and rolled over in Fullerton, authorities said Sunday.
The crash occurred around 11 p.m. Saturday in the 1000 block of East Elm Avenue, according to the Fullerton Police Department. Officers arrived to find the truck flipped on its side with eight teenagers inside.
Seven of the eight occupants — all minors — were transported to nearby hospitals with minor injuries, police said. Video from the scene shows firefighters and paramedics helping several teens, all wearing neck braces, into ambulances.
The driver, described by authorities as an adult teenager, was tested for driving under the influence. No arrests were made, according to authorities.
The cause of the crash was under investigation.
