RICHMOND, Indiana — Two men were arrested Friday night after Richmond police executed a search warrant at a local nightclub.
According to a release from the Richmond Police Department , after investigating work by Indiana State Excise Police, RPD requested their help with what police call "ongoing criminal activity" at "The Lounge," located at 1117 East Main Street .
In the release, police called the nightclub a "drain on its neighborhood," citing "disturbances, fights, illegal substances and chronic illegal activity."
On Nov. 21, RPD's SWAT team, along with the Randolph County SWAT team and Indiana State Excise Police executed a search warrant at "The Lounge." During the raid, police say two people were arrested.
