A 25-year-old man is now in custody after being accused of killing his father in Brampton on Saturday, according to homicide detectives.
Peel Regional Police said late Sunday on social media that Nicholas Jaglal, of Brampton, who was wanted for second-degree murder and attempted murder, had been arrested.
Police said that they found Jaglal’s father, who was in his 50s, with a fatal gunshot wound at a home on Clearjoy St. — in the Hwy. 410-Bovaird Dr. area — at 3:15 p.m.
“Despite the best efforts of first responders, he was pronounced deceased,” police said in a release.
Police had cautioned that Jaglal was considered armed and dangerous and urged anyone who saw him to call 911.
“Thank you to all who shared his image,” police said.
