(Seguin) — A two-day search for 10-year-old Amarianna Castillo provided some much-needed relief Saturday afternoon for not only her family but the entire Seguin community. Seguin Police just after 4:10 p.m. Saturday reported that the local girl had been found.
The child was first reported missing after she was last seen Thursday evening. Police had shared that she might have been in the company of another juvenile known only as Xavier. The department asked the community for assistance, prompting a widespread effort to help locate her.
Officials announced her recovery in an afternoon update, thanking the public for its support.
No additional details were immediately released.
