Holiday travelers waited at Hector Airport Wednesday for delayed Northwest Orient and Republic flights into and out of Minneapolis, hoping to be with their relatives on Thanksgiving.
But accumulating and blowing snow hampered flight schedules and Minneapolis–St. Paul International Airport was “closed off and on since noon” Wednesday, said Joe Parmer, executive director at Hector.
