It's almost time for New Yorkers to save on the most sought-after items this holiday season through Black Friday sales.

While many retailers are offering online discounts and some have started their sales early, most stores will be open on Black Friday for in-person shopping, with a few even extending their hours for extra shopping time.

When is Black Friday 2025?

Black Friday always falls on the day after Thanksgiving. This year, it's Friday, Nov. 28, 2025.

Is Walmart open on Black Friday?

Walmart stores will open at 6 a.m. ET on Black Friday. The retailer's Black Friday sales began on Nov. 14 and will run through Sunday, Nov. 30.
