The 2025-2026 high school basketball season is underway, and several teams have already tipped off for the year.

Terry Sanford returned on Saturday, Nov. 22 for its HoopState LadyBaller Tip-Off after finishing another successful season as NCHSAA 3A East runner-up and regular-season conference champions.

South View won its conference for the first time in nine seasons, but was booted out of the playoffs in the first round.
