Competition for the 2025-26 high school boys season is a week away and the best athletes in the Catholic High School League are ready to show off.
Here are 10 boys basketball players to watch in the CHSL at the start of the 2025-26 season.
Greg Grays, Bloomfield Hills Brother Rice
The Mr. Basketball candidate already has 1,410 career points. Signed with Detroit Mercy, Grays averaged 19.0 points and 5.0 rebounds a game last year.
Manny Johnson, Toledo Central Catholic
Playmaking guard who averaged 12.6 points per game last year, shooting 51.9% from the field. He has signed with Eastern Michigan.
Alan Horton, Toledo St. Francis de Sales
A 6-foot-9 forward/center, Horton has signed with Miami (Ohio) and might be the league’s best frontcourt player this year. Averaged 11.7 points and 9.
