MIDTOWN (WABC) -- Police are searching for the person who repeatedly stabbed a man in the back, killing him near Times Square early Monday.

The man was attacked on West 49th Street and Seventh Avenue around 1 a.m.

Investigators believe this was part of an ongoing dispute that may have spanned several city blocks.

So far there have been no arrests.
