A teenage boy has been left in 'absolute agony every day' after he injured his back while playing football at school.
Sebastian Wohler was playing football at lunchtime with a friend in January 2023 when he injured his back. The 16-year-old, from Skelmersdale, was initially told by medics that the injury was minor, the Liverpool Echo reports.
His mum Val Wohler, 46, said doctors told them he had probably 'pulled a muscle'. Sebastian. an aspiring rugby player, visited A&E multiple times and was advised to take painkillers.
But the pain didn't go away for the teenager and a CT scan eventually revealed a fracture on his spine. More than two years on and Sebastian is still struggling with the pain.
