LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - A WAVE Weather ALERT DAY is in place through the morning commute due to areas of dense fog. Once the fog mixes out by late morning, cloudy skies will remain as highs climb into the 50s this afternoon.

Some areas of drizzle are possible this afternoon. Rain gradually takes over the region tonight as lows fall into the 40s and low 50s. Widespread, steady Tuesday morning rainfall will become more scattered and light tomorrow afternoon. A few rumbles of thunder are possible.
