Thanksgiving is somehow already here.
And given how much words like “ inflation ” and “ tariffs ” get thrown around these days, many people are — understandably — probably wondering how much the turkey and crew will cost them this year.
Reuters reports that a Thanksgiving meal will cost the lowest it’s been since 2021.
Indeed, the American Farm Bureau Federation (AFBF) states that staples of the holiday — which the federation says consists of turkey, stuffing, sweet potato, sweet peas, dinner rolls, and pumpkin pie, along with other foodstuffs — have seen a “moderate decline” in price: A 16-pound frozen turkey, for example, is 16 percent cheaper in comparison to last year.
