PEORIA, Ill. – Peoria’s gas prices have dropped 1.7 cents in the last week, averaging $3.17 a gallon on Monday, according to GasBuddy’s survey of 148 gas stations in Peoria.
Prices in Peoria are 7.1 cents higher than a month ago and 4.7 cents higher than this time last year.
GasBuddy price reports show the cheapest gas in Peoria on Sunday was $2.89, while the most expensive gas was $3.59. The lowest price in the state was $2.67 and the highest price was $4.79.
GasBuddy’s national average price of unleaded gas is unchanged from last week, averaging $3.03 on Monday. That’s down 2.0 cents from last month and 2.5 cents higher than a year ago.
