LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - The University of Louisville and the University of Kentucky will meet on the field, but the two teams are also taking their rivalry off the field and into the community.

It’s the return of the Cards vs. Cats Challenge.

Starting now through Giving Tuesday, Dec. 2, fans of both teams are encouraged to show their spirit by joining the fight against food insecurity on their campuses.

This year’s challenge builds up to the highly anticipated football showdown on Saturday, Nov. 29, at L&N Stadium in Louisville. As the Cardinals prepare to take on the Wildcats in this rivalry matchup, the Cards vs. Cats Challenge allows fans to rally behind their team while making a meaningful impact.
