STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — New Springville’s Costco will be closed on Thanksgiving, however, on Black Friday, the big-box retailer is expected to open at 9 a.m.

Executive and Business members can start shopping Costco’s Black Friday deals at 9 a.m., while Gold Star members can enter at 10 a.m.

The store will remain open until 8:30 p.m. on Black Friday.

As committed Costco shoppers know, a membership is required to shop at the warehouse.

For $65 annually, customers gain gold status and are able to shop at the store. However, for $130 a year, they gain executive status. This elite membership rewards shoppers with up to $1,250 on eligible Costco and Costco Travel purchases. The executive membership also grants access to discounts on various Costco services.
