Strictly's Amy Dowden was back in hospital in Birmingham today as she continued her treatment after supporting her colleagues in Blackpool.
The professional dancer was was diagnosed with breast cancer in May 2023, before undergoing a single mastectomy and chemotherapy treatment.
She returned to the dance floor in 2004 after being told by doctors there was ‘no evidence of disease’, but shortly after exiting the competition first with Appretice star Thomas Skinner this year she revealed she needed a second mastectomy.
The 35-year-old confirmed that the procedure wasn't to treat a new cancer, but was a decision made with her medical team.
