The driver of a vehicle that crashed on Rosehill Road last month, killing three E.E. Smith High School students, appeared in court for the first time Nov. 20, gripping a stuffed animal and weeping as she sat in a wheelchair.
Dymond Nekiya Monroe, 21, was booked into the Cumberland County jail after being released from the hospital Nov. 19, nearly seven weeks after the Oct. 6 wreck that killed Jai'Hyon Lamont Elliott, 18; Nicholas Kole Williams, 17; and Trevor Jayshawn Merritt, 17.
