INDIANA — Hoosier drivers are getting a break at the pump just in time for the busy holiday travel season, with average gasoline prices in Indiana falling 12.3 cents per gallon in the last week.
According to a GasBuddy survey of 3,271 stations in the state, the average gasoline price is now $2.89 per gallon. This downward trend brings current prices 20.1 cents lower than they were a month ago, and slightly below prices from one year ago.
The substantial drop in Indiana contrasts with the national average gasoline price, which remained unchanged last week at $ 3.03 per gallon.
