Police have launched a murder investigation after a 22-year-old man was found dead at a property in Hartlepool.

Paramedics and police attended the property after receiving reports of an incident and found the man deceased. Two men, aged 22 and 23, have been arrested on suspicion of murder. A Cleveland Police spokeswoman said: "After receiving reports of an incident at the address, Paramedics and Police responded shortly before 11am on Sunday 23rd November, and a 22-year-old man was sadly found deceased inside of the property.

"Two men aged 22 and 23 have been arrested on suspicion of murder and remain in police custody. Our thoughts are with the deceased man’s friends and family at this sad time."
