BOISE, Idaho — Six squads will cement themselves in Idaho high school football history this weekend with a state championship banner, trophy and ultimate bragging rights.
Four Treasure Valley teams take aim at the throne, including Timberline, who looks to cap an unforgettable season with another underdog effort in its first-ever title game appearance. Rigby touts four state championships since 2019 entering Saturday's showdown inside the ICCU Dome in Pocatello.
The City of Trees plays host to the 5A title game featuring Bishop Kelly and Hillcrest, a pair of powerhouse programs with plenty of familiarity. Hillcrest seeks its second-straight title after defeating Skyline in the 2024 finale.
