MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi is scheduled to travel to Memphis along with Tennessee Governor Bill Lee on Monday to check in on the Memphis Safe Task Force .

The City of Memphis’ data dashboard shows a steady decline in the daily number of criminal offenses and calls for service since the task force began operations in October.

The Memphis Safe Task Force reports 3,000 arrests made since operations began. The city’s SAFE data dashboard counted 54 criminal offenses Saturday, a new low since October 1. That number represents nearly half the offenses committed in Memphis at the same time last year.

Data for the past 53 days shows a 20 percent drop in calls for service compared to the same time last year.
