Rangers fans rejoice in Stewart and Thelwell exits but Hotline fears it's too little too late

Andrew Cavenagh has called time on Kevin Thelwell and Patrick Stewart’s Rangers careers. ‌

But the Ibrox punters calling the Hotline fear the call has come too late after accusing the axed sporting director and chief executive of overseeing a disastrous start to the season. ‌

Gavin MacLeod, Scotstoun, said: “Well, it looks like Andrew Cavanagh has seen sense and pulled the plug on Tweedledum and Tweedledee - not a minute too soon. As a fan looking in, I can’t think of a more inept duo - and they’ve had some fierce competition in recent years.
