MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - Madison Police Department and Illinois police officers provided new information Monday after one of the two girls convicted in the 2014 Slender Man stabbing case was found a day after she went missing.
Madison Police Department Chief John Patterson said officers focused on getting communication out to the public when they heard Morgan Geyser was missing . Patterson said Geyser does not have many ties to the Madison area, but there is one individual she does have ties with that she may have been with.
“I think the important thing is yesterday we all came together, collaborated well and fortunately we have a good outcome where she was taken into custody late last night,” Patterson said.
Patterson said Madison officers will be in contact with Posen Police Departmen
