A New Jersey lottery player has a million reasons to be thankful this week after winning $1 million on a $10 scratch-off ticket.

The New Jersey Lottery announced that a Ocean County lottery player won a top prize in the $1,000,000 Spectacular scratch-off game on Nov. 17.

The $10 winning scratch-off ticket was sold at the appropriately named Lucky 7 Deli on Route 70 in Lakehurst.

The $1,000,000 Spectacular launched on Nov. 5 and this was the first of four $1 million prizes won in the game.

In addition to the million dollars, the scratch-off game offers prizes from $20 to $10,000.

Also last week, a lottery player in Hudson County won $155,000 on a $5 scratch-off ticket, lottery officials announced.
