With everything law enforcement deals with day in and day out, it’s always great to see them give back in such a big way. With Thanksgiving just days away, the Albany County Sheriff’s Office is once again preparing thousands of holiday meals for families in need across the Capital Region.

More Dinners Than Ever

Sheriff Craig Apple says his team is assembling more dinners than ever this year, thanks to strong partnerships with Capital City Rescue Mission, ShopRite, Cisco, and Old World Provisions. Together, they’ve gathered everything they need for the massive effort, which includes 900 pounds of turkey.
