A 26-year-old woman died Saturday, Nov. 22, after being electrocuted at Sonneborn in Petrolia, according to officials.
Victoria Zachrich, of Hadley, Mercer County, died of an accidental low-voltage electrocution, according to the Butler County Coroner’s Office. Pennsylvania State Police said the girl was electrocuted while working at her job site around 10:28 a.m. near Nesbit Avenue.
Police said life-saving measures were attempted at the scene before Zachrich was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
Police said Karns City EMS, East Butler EMS and the coroner also responded to the scene.
Sunneborn is a Petrolia-based manufacturer of specialty products like white mineral oils, petrolatums and microcrystalline waxes. Attempts to reach Sonneborn were unsuccessf
