TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) - A former Woodward High School girls’ varsity basketball coach has resigned from Toledo Public Schools, district administrators confirmed to 13 Action News.
School leaders say he submitted his resignation on Nov. 20. It’s not clear why he resigned.
We do know school administrators launched an investigation into alleged misconduct involving the basketball coach after players and parents raised concerns. School leaders say although the employee has resigned, the district will continue the investigation.
A new coach will be named and will lead the team for the remainder of the season.
