WOOD COUNTY, Ohio (WTVG) -Staff with Otsego Local Schools are alerting families in the district about the discovery of two threatening letters, containing the names of multiple students.
13 Action News obtained a memo sent to families from Otesgo’s superintendent. In the letter, staff said they were made aware of concerns about a student who has been journaling on the bus. The student allegedly had a list of fourth and fifth graders, who were described as being ‘zip-tied in a basement and harmed.’
The district and local law enforcement convened a threat assessment team to look into the allegations. During the investigation, two lists were discovered. Staff say the lists were titled “Kill List” and “Death Note.” Both of the lists had the names of other elementary students.
