The bitterly cold weather hitting the UK is set to continue into December, as parts of the country are hit by more snow and temperatures plummet to -7 °C. New weather maps from WXCHARTS and Netweather reveal that parts of the country are due to get even colder next week, while snow also makes a return.
On December 3, light dustings of up to 1mm/hr are forecast for areas of Scotland, England, and Wales. The worst-affected areas are due to be the Highlands, Cumbria, and Conwy, according to WXCHARTS. Elsehwere, light rain falling at up to 3mm/hr is expected for many areas along the UK's west coast, as well as parts of the Midlands and Devon.
