DES MOINES, Iowa — Governor Kim Reynolds has announced that former Iowa Governor and U.S. Ambassador to China Terry Branstad will receive the Iowa Award on December 11 at the Iowa State Capitol. The Iowa Centennial Memorial Foundation, established in 1948 by Governor Robert D. Blue and the Iowa Legislature, created the Iowa Award as the state's highest honor for citizens.
