With a strong winter storm system tracking in to hit Michigan right before Thanksgiving, we’ve got a lot of forecast details that are coming into view. For some of us, it’s going to be a multi-day storm that kicks off on Tuesday and brings several inches of snow. For others, we’ll see a gusty storm front closer to Thanksgiving with some lake-effect snow.

Bottom line, the travel conditions on Wednesday and Thursday are not going to be ideal. In some parts of Michigan, they could be dangerous. Those hazardous travel areas will be the ones where snow and gusty winds combine to drop visibility on the roads.
